1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DesktopEpics ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

DesktopEpics is a subscription-based streaming platform offering prestige AI micro-drama series. The first episode of every series is available for free without an account. Access to additional episodes requires an active subscription or a series season pass purchase.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You may not share your account or allow others to access your subscription
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Subscriptions

Plans and Pricing

  • Standard: $7.99/month or $69.99/year
  • Prestige: $12.99/month or $109.99/year
  • Both plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the billing date
  • Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain access to subscription content until the end of your paid period
  • No refunds are issued for partial billing periods

5. Season Passes

  • A season pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks all episodes of a specific series
  • Season pass access does not expire
  • Season passes do not grant access to other series
  • Season pass purchases are non-refundable except as required by law

6. Content and Intellectual Property

  • All content on DesktopEpics, including videos, thumbnails, descriptions, and branding, is owned by DesktopEpics or its licensors
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to stream content for personal, non-commercial use
  • You may not download, copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content
  • You may not use screen capture, recording tools, or any technology to capture or redistribute content from the platform
  • You may not circumvent or disable any content protection or access control mechanisms

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
  • Share, resell, or redistribute your account access
  • Reverse-engineer any aspect of the Service

8. Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Content availability may change — series or episodes may be added or removed.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DesktopEpics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Active subscriptions will be cancelled. Season pass purchases are non-recoverable after account deletion.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
